Mathical staff members Kirsten Bohl and Jennifer Murawski, joined by Mathical author Lalena Fisher (Friends Beyond Measure), distributed 1,500 Mathical Books to K-5 teachers at the first-ever joint conference of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) in June 2024 in New Orleans.
The books were shared through the support of the publisher, Science Naturally!, who made the donation possible through a bulk purchase agreement.
Teachers received books upon arriving at the conference. Additional books were shared with Title I school and other school representatives in bundles for fellow teachers who were not in attendance at the conference.
